Admission Process

First Year Engineering Admissions:

• Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 
  • Admissions for the 80% seats of the Sanctioned Intake are done through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) by State Common Entrance Test Cell.
  • 51% of the Centralized Admission Process seats are reserved for Minority Quota. 
  • Candidates are required to visit CET Cell Website https://cetcell.mahacet.org for Admission Notification and Registration for Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

• Institute Level Seats 
  • Admissions for the 20% seats of the Sanctioned Intake are done at Institute level.
  • Application for Institute Level Seats and CAP Vacancy Seats will be available online in this Portal soon. CAP Registration is compulsory to apply for the Institute Level Seats.
  • A Separate merit list of the eligible candidates who have applied through the Institute Quota would be prepared based on the CET Merit of the candidates. This Merit list would be displayed on our Institute Website along with the Admission schedule.

Direct Second Year Engineering Admissions:

• 10% seats of the sanctioned intake would be admitted directly to the Second Year Engineering through the centralized Admission process. (Diploma Passed out Candidates).
• 51% of the seats are reserved for Minority Quota.
• Candidates are required to visit CET Cell Website https://cetcell.mahacet.org for Admission Notification and Registration for Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
